MaUWB Positioning Board - UBC Rocket
A compact ultra-wideband positioning node for the TVR drone, giving local position estimates in GPS-denied test environments. An STM32G030 host MCU pairs with a DW3000-based UWB module over UART and the right side can be broken off as tag which connects to flight controller via UART header. A self-contained power front end runs off the pack, and a DIP-set address lets several identical boards share one bus as anchors around a flight volume.
MCU: STM32G030K8T6 (Cortex-M0+, 64 MHz)
UWB: DW3000-based MaUWB module, UART to host
Interfaces: UART(to flight stack), I2C (OLED)
Power: reverse-polarity PMOS load switch → TLV840 UVLO → AP2112K 3.3V LDO; Battery voltage sensing with enable switch and voltage divider to ADC
Addressing: 4-position DIP switch to select Tag Serial No.
Debug: single STLINK footprint muxed to MCU or UWB via 0Ω jumpers (J2–J5)
